Kristine Neumeister
Senior Research associate
Kristine Neumeister serves as a Senior Research Associate at 413. In addition to her role at 413, she is a part-time adjunct professor in the College of Public Service at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and serves on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Springs World Affairs Council.
Kristine earned her Master’s in History, where she conducted qualitative and quantitative research on both domestic and transnational extremist movements. Her academic background also includes a Bachelor’s degree in European History from the University of Northern Colorado, complemented by a minor in German. Following her undergraduate studies, she moved to Berlin, Germany on two Fulbright ETA scholarships, which sparked her interest in transatlantic and international affairs. She is fluent in German and has a foundational understanding of French.
Prior to joining 413, Kristine worked as an International Visitor Leadership Program Specialist at the Colorado Springs World Affairs Council. In that role, she developed proposals and coordinated State Department-sponsored international delegations visiting Colorado Springs for security posture events.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Kristine is an avid outdoorswoman. Whether she's rock climbing, mountain biking, trail running or testing out new outdoor activities, she thrives in the natural world. In her downtime, she enjoys the company of her cats, Carlton and Kenni.
